titleOfInvention Method of ablating posterior cortical layers of vitreous body in people of young age and children
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in surgical treatment of retinal detachment. Anterior vitrectomy is performed. Smoothing of central parts of retina and their short-time tamponade by introduction of PFOC are carried out. After that PFOC is removed by active aspiration after ablation of peripheral part of VB. Peripheral part of VB is ablated with application of sclerocompression. After that posterior cortical layers of VB are ablated. Then PFOC is re-introduced. Tamponade of vitreous cavity is performed. Laser coagulation of retina and replacement of PFOC with silicon are carried out. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce intra-operation complications, completely ablate posterior cortical layers in patients of young age and children. n 1 ex
