abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to pulmonology, and can be used for predicting risk of bronchial obstruction progressing in patients with bronchial asthma. Determined are: degree of bronchial asthma severity, sex, age, disease duration, forced expiratory volume during first second in percent from proper value, Tiffeneau index in percent from proper value, degree of dyspnea expression by Borg scale in points, result of test of control over asthma in points, presence of smoking, index of smoker, level of interleukin-4 in blood serum, level of interleukin-8 in blood serum, level of tumour necrosis factor-α in blood serum, number of bronchial asthma exacerbations per year, number of days of bronchial asthma exacerbations per year. Coefficient of risk of bronchial obstruction progressing is determined and used as basis for diagnosing low, medium, high risk of bronchial obstruction progressing. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase efficiency of predicting risk of bronchial obstruction progressing in patients with bronchial asthma due to complex estimation of objective data (indices of respiratory function), level of pro-inflammatory cytokines in blood serum, as well as impact of risk factors (smoking), character of disease course, level of control over asthma, number and duration of exarcerbations per year, aimed at early beginning of carrying out preventive measures. n 3 ex |
