FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing pure covellite (CuS) from solutions using sulphate-reducing bacteria. The method involves putting sulphate-reducing bacteria which are highly resistant to copper ions into a liquid medium containing metals, with addition of nutrient substances including vitamin solutions, salts, cofactors, lactate, sodium sulphide, with further culturing at temperature 28°C and drying. Glass plates are placed in the container when culturing sulphate-reducing bacteria. Culturing is carried out at temperature 28°C for 8 days. A residue containing covellite is extracted from the glass plates after drying. n EFFECT: invention enables to obtain pure covellite. n 2 dwg, 2 tbl, 1 ex |
