FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: methods of purifying a target protein involve preparation of a solution containing a mixture of the dissolved target protein and one or more dissolved impurity proteins, contacting said solution with one or more cationic surfactants with increase in the content of the target protein relative proteins remaining in the solution and extraction of the dissolved target protein.
