titleOfInvention | Processing method of uranium-bearing materials |
abstract | FIELD: power industry. n SUBSTANCE: method involves concentration of solutions of materials by deposition of polyurethanes with further dissolution of deposit in nitric acid, extraction of uranium from concentrated solutions by using tributyl phosphate in hydrocarbon diluter, reextraction and deposition of ammonium polyurethanes from obtained reextracts. Method differs by the fact that uranium deposition at concentration stage is performed in presence of substance [-(C 3 H 5 NO) x -(C 8 H 15 NO 2 Cl) y ], where x=11000÷57000, y=11000÷57000, which is formed as a result of copolymerisation of monomers of acrylamide and methyl chloride (with molecular weight of 3 to 15 millions) at their content of 0.005-0.015 g/g uranium. Deposition is performed in presence of solution of sodium hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide. Deposition is performed at temperature of 60÷80°C. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of concentration operation, improving sediment and filtration properties of deposits, reducing uranium content in mother solutions and their activity. n 3 cl, 4 tbl |
