titleOfInvention Method to reinforce railroad bed
abstract FIELD: construction. n SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in construction and reconstruction of railway technical systems "earth bed - permanent way" (TS), highways, basements of structures and foundations, supports of manmade structures, power transmission lines and a a contact system at clayey soils under conditions of their overwetting and heaving. The method to reinforce a railroad bed consists in treatment of railroad bed soils with a reinforcing composition of a hydraulic binder, a mineral adsorbent and water with their subsequent compaction till full covering of ballast prism soil particles with a reinforcing composition. Treatment of earth bed soils with a reinforcing composition is carried out in the upper layer of a ballast prism. The reinforcing composition is taken in the amount of 8-12% from the ballast prism volume. A hydraulic binder in the reinforcing composition is brucite lime. A mineral adsorbent is brucite chaff. n EFFECT: increased period of TS stability during the whole normative time of its interrepair life, realisation of soil reinforcement process without removal of rail and sleeper grid. n 1 tbl
