abstract FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: composition of reagents, which contains glucose dehydrogenase and pyrrole-quinoline quinine (GDH-PQQ) as an enzyme-cofactor and carried using a screen-printing technique onto the working electrode and counter electrode of the electrochemical biosensor, supports activity of enzymatic reagents through corresponding selection of components. The preferred composition contains a hydrophilic polymer selected from cellulose derivatives, natural gum or gels, as well as water-soluble synthetic polymers, powder of amorphous crude silicon dioxide, a buffer, a surfactant and a mediator. ^ EFFECT: composition does not lead to premature loss of activity of the enzyme-cofactor system which is used to oxidise glucose in a glucose biosensor. ^ 22 cl, 7 dwg, 2 ex
