abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: method of producing hydrosol based on colloidal nanoparticles of manganese dioxide for forming a coating of electrochemical peroxide-sensitive sensors is realised via a reaction for comproportionation of permanganate ions MnO 4   - and Mn 2+ ions in aqueous solution, in which counterions and concentration of salts are such that a stable sol of colloidal nanoparticles of MnO 2 form, which involves mixing different volumes of the aqueous solution of sodium or potassium permanganate and aqueous solution of manganese dihydrophosphate or acetate at stoichiometric ratio of concentrations and room temperature. n EFFECT: simple method of producing highly sensitive peroxide-sensitive electrochemical sensors and biosensors based on a stable aqueous sol of a manganese dioxide mediator. n 12 cl, 4 dwg, 6 ex
