abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to modification of halobutyl elastomers without using solvents, using an interphase transfer catalyst, particularly tetrabutylammonium bromide or trioctylmethylammonium chloride, in the presence of an alkyl-metal salt of a nucleophile based on oxygen as the modifier.
