titleOfInvention IN VITRO CULTIVATED PANAX GINSENG PG-1 (Panax ginseng C.A. Mey) CELL STRAIN - GINSENOSIDE PRODUCER
abstract FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: in vitro cultivated ginseng HacroflineroPg-1 (Panax ginseng C And Mey) cell strain is deposited in the Russian Collection of Cultivated Seed Plant Cells under the Institution of the Russian Academy of Sciences K.A Timiryazev Plant Physiology Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, No. 68 - a producer of ginsenosides: compounds of Rg and Rb groups. During long-term cultivation (6-7 cycles), all seven ginsenosides characteristic for plants were shown stably. In the Pg-1 strain, synthesis of the Rb-group compounds and Re ginsenoside especially, has become more active. The relation of the Rg/Rb group compounds have been observed to be high enough and remained stable over a number consecutive cultivation cycles. The prepared Panax Ginseng Pg-1 strain synthesizes a complete formulation of the Rg and Rb group ginsenoside compounds and their significant amount - up to 4 % from a dry biomass of cells. The qualitative composition of all Rb and Rg-group ginsenoside compounds and their quantity has been equal to the values available in a wild-growing Panax Ginseng. ^ EFFECT: availability of the strain for making valuable biologically active compounds which are widely used in pharmaceutical industry and cosmetology. ^ 3 tbl
