| abstract | FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatrics. Spectral indices of heart rate variability are determined. Vegetative tone is estimated by spectrogram indices, containing total spectrum power, very low spectrum waves, low spectrum waves and high spectrum waves with further determination of spectral index of variability in (conv. units): where VLF are very low spectrum waves, ms2; LF are low spectrum waves, ms2; HF are high spectrum waves, ms2; TP is total spectrum power, ms2.
