titleOfInvention Method of purifying perfluorinated organic liquids
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of purifying perfluorinated organic liquids with a solid alkaline adsorbent. Purification is carried out in liquid phase on an adsorbent with an oxidising agent, with the ratio of adsorbent to oxidising agent equal to 0.50-0.95:0.05-0.50 pts. wt at temperature 150-300°C, but not higher than critical temperature of the perfluorinated liquid, at pressure which is not higher than that of saturated vapour at working temperature. Up to 0.1 pts. wt of a carbonaceous sorbent can be additionally used. The solid adsorbent used is a mixture of calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide in ratio of 96:4 pts. wt, and the oxidising agent used can be solid or gaseous. The solid oxidising agent used is potassium permanganate KMnO 4 , potassium bichromate K 2 Cr 2 O 7 , barium peroxide BaO 2 ,hydropyrite NH 2 COHN 2 ·H 2 O 2 or mixtures thereof. The gaseous oxidising agent used is molecular oxygen, ozone etc, or mixtures thereof, and is fed continuously during purification along the stream of the purified liquid. n EFFECT: design of a single-step method for purification in continuous mode, which enables removal of impurities consisting of products of incomplete fluorination, olefins, resinous substances and substances which contain a heteroatom-fluorine bond, simple implementation. n 4 cl, 2 tbl, 1 dwg, 7 ex
