titleOfInvention Method of treating and rehabilitation of patients with severe injuries of radial nerve
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: transplantation of tendons of functioning muscles of palm flexors on tendons of non-functioning muscles of finger and palm extensors, drug treatment and electric stimulation of transplanted muscles are carried out. Before muscle tendon transplantation maximal amplitude of produced muscular response (M-response) of functioning muscles of palm flexors is determined. Electric stimulation of damaged nerve is performed in points, where nerve is located to skin most closely, with simultaneous electric stimulation of transplanted muscles. First, proximal nerve segment, second, distal segment, and after that, transplanted muscles are subjected to impact of pulse current. Electric stimulation of nerve and muscles is carried out treanscutaneously in three steps. At the first stage impact is performed by current with frequency 5-15 Hz, current intensity 30±7 ma and pulse duration 0.3 ms; at the second stage - with frequency 20-30 Hz, current intensity 30±7 ma and pulse duration 0.2 ms; at the third stage - with frequency 40-50 Hz, current intensity 20±5 ma and pulse duration 0.2 ms. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to form motor stereotype directed at recovery of palm flexion function. n 8 cl, 1 ex, 2 tbl
