titleOfInvention Absorbent product with strongly hydrophobic layer
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to an absorbent product, such as a diaper, a pull up diaper, a panty liner, a sanitary towel, an incontinence pad or similar, comprising at least a liquid-permeable upper layer made of at least one layer of a material of a cloth, foam or a film, and an inverse layer made of at least one layer of a material of a cloth, foam or a film, and optionally at least one additional layer of a material of a cloth, foam or a film in which at least one of said layers includes a coating of a hydrophobic plastic polymer having a non-uniform surface, and shows a contact angle of a resting water drop more than 110°. Depending on a location and a position of this highly hydrophobic coating, there are favourable effects in terms of control of physiological fluid environments. n EFFECT: invention aims at providing an absorbent product with improved properties, manufactured by a simple method. n 33 cl, 3 dwg
