titleOfInvention Method for assessment of physical development of young persons
abstract FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: assessing physical development of young persons requires measuring extremity girths, and degree of physical development is assessed by a complex of indices ("ôÜ"1 - "ôÜ"6) described by the following dependences: where W is a wrist girth (cm), UTF is a girth of an upper one-third of a forearm (cm), "ôÜ"1 is an index showing a functional state of forearm muscles; where W is a wrist girth (cm), MS is a mid-shoulder girth, "ôÜ"2 is an index showing a functional state of shoulder muscles; where A is an ankle girth (cm), LTA is a girth of a lower one-third of an ankle (cm), "ôÜ"3 is an index showing a functional state of muscles of the lower one-third of the ankle; A is an ankle girth (cm), UTA is a girth of an upper one-third of the ankle (cm), "ôÜ"4 is an index showing a functional state of muscles of the upper one-third of the ankle; where A is an ankle girth (cm), PR is a popliteal region girth (cm), "ôÜ"5 is an index showing a functional state of ankle muscles and a state of venous outflow from an ankle region; where A is an ankle girth (cm), MT is a mid-thigh girth (cm), "ôÜ"6 is an index showing a functional state of thigh muscles. ^ EFFECT: method enhanced the assessment of physical development meeting the WHO requirements as much as possible, including detection of functional disorders of extremity muscles. ^ 6 ex
