abstract | FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: in order to predict in early terms of treatment development of lingering (slowly resolving) clinical course in patients with severe form of extra-hospital pneumonia concentration of interleukin-8 in blood serum and relative content of NK-lymphocytes (CD16+CD56+) in blood are determined. If concentration of interleukin-8 lower than 80 pg/ml and relative content of NK-lymphocytes lower than 10% are detected, development of lingering (slowly resolving) clinical course of extra-hospital pneumonia is predicted. ^ EFFECT: possibility to realise early and accurate prediction of lingering clinical course of disease. ^ 1 tbl, 4 ex |
