abstract | FIELD: physics. n SUBSTANCE: device has a holder which can house a sampling apparatus having a measurement cavity which includes two sections with thickness of 200 mcm and 20-60 mcm. The imaging system receives a magnified digital image of the sample. The image analyser analyses the digital image in order to identify particles and determine the number of particles in the sample. The analyser also analyses the digital image in order to identify particles which are displayed at the focus, and determines the type and number of these particles based on physical features through which the ratio of particles of different types in the sample is determined. In accordance with the method of counting particles in the sample, a sample is obtained in the measurement cavity, a digital image is obtained with magnification of the illuminated sample in the measurement cavity, said image is digitally analysed in order to identify particles and determine the number of particles in the sample, and the at least one digital image is digitally analysed in order to identify particles which are displayed at the focus. n EFFECT: faster and easier measurement. n 35 cl, 12 dwg |
