titleOfInvention Method for continuous measurement of weight of hot granular materials on buck conveyors (versions), system for realising said method and continuous-running conveyor balances
abstract FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: readings of two or three conveyor balances in one complete cycle of operation of the conveyor are taken. Before operation, one of the balances is used to measure the weight of empty buckets in one null cycle of operation of the conveyor and the obtained value is recorded. After that the weight of filled buckets is measured, whereby the weight of the filled buckets on the same weights is measured with a standard tightening weight. The loaded weight is calculated as the difference between the sum of the readings of conveyor balances for filled buckets without the standard tightening weight and the weight of empty buckets. The difference between the sum of the readings of the conveyor balances for filled buckets is simultaneously calculated and then compared with the weight of the standard tightening weight, and in case of non-coincidence, the value of the loaded weight is corrected. The weight measurement system has automatic apparatus, a frame, a double rail track journaled to the endless chain of the bucket, made in form of a line of trolleys with roller bearing units which interact with the rail track. Part of the rail track on two sections is fitted with conveyor balances for weighing filled buckets, where of which is made with possibility of accommodating the standard tightening weight. The automatic apparatus include a weight controller, a bucket counter and a central processor. The conveyor balances include to independent fragments of a rail track, each having two supporting arms which can be separately mounted to the frame of the conveyor. Between each rail track fragment and the supporting arm there are strain sensors which are connected to a device for processing their readings. On the length of each rail track fragment there is an area for placing calibrating weights or the standard tightening weight. ^ EFFECT: more reliable and accurate measurement of weight with high efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 4 dwg
