FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves operations for drawing fibre in contact with a surface-active colloidal solution of silver, thermal stabilisation and drying. Aqueous glycerin solution serves as the dispersion liquid of the colloidal solution, where said glycerin solution contains cetylpyridinium chloride or borate ions, and bimetallic colloidal particles are silver particles on which copper is deposited. The colloidal solution has the following composition, wt %: colloidal silver 0.1-2.1, colloidal copper 0.1-3.0, cetylpyridinium chloride 0.01-0.03, borate ions 0.1-0.2, glycerin 20-60, water - the rest. ^ EFFECT: introduction of such a solution into the structure of microcavities formed in fibres using a Kreysing mechanism endows the fibres with antimicrobial activity. ^ 3 tbl, 1 ex |
