titleOfInvention METHOD OF SPLITTING ALKYLATE OBTAINED DURING ALKYLATION OF BENZENE WITH C12-C14 α-OLEFINS IN PRESENCE OF CATALYST
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: method of splitting alkylate obtained during alkylation of benzene with C 12 -C 14 α-olefins in the presence of a catalyst involves splitting into a mixture of benzene and water and a mixture of monoalkylbenzene and polyalkylbenzene with subsequent fractionation of each mixture and is distinguished by that, the alkylate is split into the mixtures in a continuous first fractionating column with reflux ratio ranging 5 to 15 and 10 to 20 theoretical plates. A mixture of benzene and water is extracted into the distillate and then taken to a second fractionating column, while the stillage residue which contains a mixture of monoalkylbenzene and polyalkylbenzene is taken to a third fractionating column. An azeotropic mixture of benzene and water is extracted into the distillate in the second intermittent-action fractionating column from a mixture of benzene and water at reflux ratio ranging from 0.5 to 20, 5 to 10 theoretical plates and extraction time of 1 to 3 and the said azeotropic mixture is returned to second column together with the supply mixture of benzene and water for subsequent splitting, while benze is extracted into the stillage residue. In the continuous-action third fractionating column monoalkylbenzene is extracted into the distillate from a mixture of monoalkylbenzene and polyalkylbenzene with reflux ratio of 10 to 20, 8 to 20 theoretical plates and residual pressure of 5 to 20 mm Hg, while polyalkylbenzene is extracted into the stillage residue. n EFFECT: use of the method increases output of monoalkylbenzene, enables production of extra amounts of polyalkylbenzene, increases benzene output and simplifies implementation. n 1 cl, 4 ex, 1 dwg
