titleOfInvention | Spatial filter for laser radiation and device for generating diffraction-quality laser radiation using said filter |
abstract | FIELD: physics, optics. n SUBSTANCE: spatial filter 6 includes two focusing elements 8, 9 and a diaphragm 7 lying in the region of their focal planes in an evacuated housing 14. The diaphragm 7 is a refraction-type diaphragm with a profiled opening and is made from material which does not absorb laser radiation through a multiple photon absorption mechanism. The device for generating laser radiation has series-arranged driving laser generator 1, laser beam 2 expander 3, filter 6 which filters the laser beam 2 during its direction and reverse passage, a double-passage radiation power amplifier 10 and a wave front reversing mirror 11. The polarisation isolation device has an output polariser 4 and polarisation rotator 5. The polariser 4 is placed between the expander 3 and the focusing element 8. The rotator 5 is placed between the double-passage power amplifier 10 and the mirror 11. n EFFECT: reduced destructive effect of radiation on material of the diaphragm and improved quality characteristics of the filtered laser radiation. n 18 cl, 2 dwg |
