titleOfInvention Compression plate for closing biological tissues with help of ligature and for ligature sutures fixation
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical instruments and can be used for sutures, for example, for closing tendons or to prevent the eruption after surgery, requiring a tight tissue fixation, such as blepharorrhaphy, reconstructive surgery in the orbital and paraorbital areas, as well as other surgeries involving tension of tissues. Compression plate for closing of biological tissues with help of ligature and for ligature sutures fixation contains polymer base with through holes for ligature suturing and drug coverage. The base is made of transparent polymer and has a gutter under the ligature. The gutter is connected with its ends to two through holes for ligature suturing. Openings for ligature suturing, grouped in pairs through holes have blind ends of the trough. The holes are symmetrically located on the axes oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the trough of length at least equal to four diametres of ligature thread. The minimum distance from the edge of each through hole to the edge of the plate is at least equal to two diametres of ligature thread. Drug coating is applied on the surface opposite the surface with a groove. The distances between the holes with blind ends grouped in pairs with through holes are equal at least to three diametres of ligature thread. n EFFECT: provision of adequate and reliable fixation and retention for a long term of skin graft, graft or eyelids in a given position, an adequate adaptation of wound edges or matched tissues or structures, a significant reduction of healing time, a significant reduction of risk of infectious complications, a significant decrease in pressure on the wound edges and in risk of rhaphe eruption, as well as ensuring ease of use and care. n 8 cl, 2 ex, 4 dwg
