abstract |
FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and is designed to evaluate the viability of myocardial tissue. Direct 13 C-MR images of 13 C-pyruvate and its 13 C-containing metabolites of alanine, lactate and possibly bicarbonate in a subject, who the composition containing hyperpolarised 13 C-pyruvate is administered beforehead. Correlation of 13 C signal of metabolite with 13 C signal of any other metabolite detected is conducted for acquisition the contrast based on the difference of signals intensity of two, preferably three, most preferably four 13 C metabolites. n EFFECT: method allows to identify at-risk myocardial tissue. n 13 cl, 5 ex, 2 dwg |
