titleOfInvention METHOD OF HARDENING POLYMETHYLENE-p-TRIPHENYL ETHER OF BORIC ACID
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of hardening organoboron polymers used in the industry of heat-resistant composite materials. Described is a method of hardening polymethylene-p-triphenyl ether of boric acid at 185-195°C for 2-2.5 hours with a sulphur curing system, with the following composition of components, pts. wt: sulphur - 26.9 - 28.6; thiuram - 11.6-12.3; zinc oxide - 3.9-4.2 and captax - 2.0-2.3 per 100 pts. wt polymethylene-p-triphenyl ether of boric acid. n EFFECT: proposed method avoids release of gas and gaseous products of hardening and therefore improves physical and mechanical properties of the friction product. n 1 cl, 6 ex
