abstract 1. A device for treating water by electric discharges, comprising a housing and high voltage and grounded electrodes located therein, characterized in that at least one grounded electrode is made of at least two plates that are located vertically along the walls of the discharge chamber in the housing and horizontally along the bottom of the discharge chamber in the housing, between the plates there is at least one high-voltage electrode, which is made in the form of a rod on which at least two additional rods are placed, which are directed towards the vertically located parts of the grounded electrode, which is immersed in the treated water. 2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the grounded electrode is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with a bottom, inside of which there is a high-voltage electrode in the form of a rod, on which at least two additional rods are placed, which are directed towards the grounded electrode, wherein the diameter of the grounded electrode to the diameter of the high voltage electrode is 2-5, and the ratio of the diameter of the high voltage electrode to the length of the additional rod is 1.25-2.5.3. The device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the grounded electrode is made in the form of a hollow perforated cylinder with a bottom, in the openings of which additional rods are placed, which are directed towards the high-voltage electrode. 4.
