abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for visualization of preganglionary parts of roots of L3-S1 spine segment in diagnostics of osteochondrosis of lumbosacral part of spine and can be used in neurosurgery, neurology, functional diagnostics. Evaluation of data of magnetic-resonance tomography of intervertebral discs in segments L3-S1 is carried out by obtaining suspended image in coronary, sagittal and axial planes at the level of changed intervertebral disc. Additionally examination in tangential plane is carried out. On obtained earlier sagittal T2 image guides are placed in axial plane with centre of packet of future tomograms being at the level of changed intervertebral disc. On coronary target tomograms guides are placed at angle 30-40 degrees relative to vertical axis of spine. On axial T2 images guides are placed in plane of intervertebral space from the side of injured nerve root. n EFFECT: method ensures clear visualisation of preganglionary parts of roots of low-lumbar part of spine, detection of injured intervertebral discs and possible niduses of osteochondrosis of spine lumbosacral part in case of pain syndrome recurrence after operative intervention on intervertebral discs, maximal access to region of examination. n 1 ex, 5 dwg
