abstract | FIELD: metallurgy. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to manufacturing of steel-smelting flux. In rotary kiln it is implemented annealing of mixture of slag-forming components of dolomite, iron-bearing material and caustic magnesite and/or calcine magnesite at following content of components, wt %: dolomite 45.0-65.0; caustic magnesite and/or calcine magnesite 25.0-50.0; iron-bearing material 5.0-10.0. Additionally dolomite allows grain size 5-15 mm. In the capacity of caustic magnesite it is used dust bearing out, trapped from rotary kilns, operating on annealing of natural magnesite and/or from kilns, operating on annealing of particular raw mixture. n EFFECT: invention provides receiving of flux in the form of granules of bio-ceramic compound with particular chemical composition gradient, described by uneven content of basic oxides in envelope and core of granule, that promotes high adoption rate of flux by melted slag of converter melting and with this it is provided better quality skull coating of brickwork of converter. n 2 cl, 3 tbl, 1 ex |
