abstract | FIELD: information technologies. n SUBSTANCE: method allows for video controller operation mode in which image is cloned to both outputs using overlay for the second video controller output only. In this method, creation of program application interface is provided which interface makes possible direct access to video memory with hardware support of overlay surfaces. Interface image signal for the first eye is generated on the first output of video controller, and at the same time for the second eye - on the second output of video controller by scanning original surface, scanning signal sending to two outputs of video controller and overlapping overlay surface scanning signal over the signal generated on the second output.
