titleOfInvention Method for elimination of senile eversion of ingerior eyelid
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method refers to ophthalmology and can be used in surgical elimination of eyelid eversion, particularly of aged (senile) eversion of inferior eyelids. The therapy involves diversion of intension of a rectangular musculocutaneous flap, its tension and fixation to periosteum of the lateral edge of eye socket over the external ligament of eyelid. The musculocutaneous flap is separated from the inferior edge of eye socket. Then a triangular conjunctival-chondral flap with its apex turned to the transitory fold of the inferior eyelid is excised. After that tarsoorbital fascia is opened with separating a retractor of the inferior eyelid and fixing it to the inferoposterior cartilage edge. The separated rectangular musculocutaneous flap is additionally deepithelised and additionally fixed to the anterior surface of cartilage from above and to the tarsoorbital fascia from below. n EFFECT: reduced risk of recurrence of the disease and eliminated eversion of inferior lachrymal opening. n 1 ex, 8 dwg
