titleOfInvention | Method of producing tricyclo[4,2,1,02,5]-nonane-3-spiro-1'-butane |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing tricyclo[4.2.1.0 2'5 ]nonane-3-spiro-1'-butane of general formula (1), , characterised by that, 3-methylenetricyclo[4.2.1.0 2,5 ]nonane is reacted with triethylaluminium Et 3 Al in the presence of zirconocene dichloride catalyst Cp2ZrCl2 in molar ratio 3-methylenetricyclo[4.2.1.0 2,5 ]nonane:Et 3 Al: Cp 2 ZrCl 2 =10:(10-14):(0.4-0.6) in an argon atmosphere at temperature 20°C and normal pressure in hexane, for a period of 5 to 7 hours with subsequent addition at -10°C of diethyl ether in a volume equal to that of hexane taken, triphenylphosphine Ph 3 P and palladium acetylacetonate Pd(acac) 2 in amount equimolar to Cp2ZrCl2. Freshly distilled allyl chloride is then added in threefold excess of taken Et 3 Al, and temperature is brought to room temperature and stirring is continued for 5 more hours. n EFFECT: said compound can be used in fine organic synthesis, in production of liquid-crystalline systems, and biologically active substances. n 1 cl, 1 tbl, 7 ex |
