titleOfInvention Method of surgical treatment of orbit phlegmon of odontogenic origin
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to ophtalmosurgery. Through skin cut along eyelash edge orbitotomy is performed in one stage subperiosteally and supraperiosteally with isolation of musculocutaneous plate of lower eyelid. Subperiosteal space is washed with antiseptic solution with simultaneous revision of inferior orbit wall. Bone sequestra of inferior orbit wall are removed. Double drainage of subperiosteal space is performed into maxillary sinus by formation of opening in inferior orbit wall and outside into the wound. Tarsoorbital fascia is cut up. Retrobulbar cellular tissue is opened to orbit apex. Drainage is lead out on the skin, sutures are applied on periosteum cut, tarsoorbital fascia. Musculocutaneous flap is placed and sutured in external part of the wound above led-out drainages. n EFFECT: method ensures full revision of orbit tissues, simultaneous draining of retrobulbar cellur tissue and reduction of intraorbital pressure, elimination of skin scar formation. n 11 dwg, 2 ex
