abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, human ecology and currency, and can be used in monitoring of state of region citizens, in elaboration of actions on mass correction and prevention of element status of region citizens with detected deficiency of essential microelements and essential impact of toxic factors. Indication of region is carried out. As indicators contacting with skin of region citizens, coins and/or tokens, which move in region and are made from at least one metal included into regional group of deficient essential microelements and/or microelements-antagonists of excess toxic elements. Intensity of indicator wear is determined not less frequently than one time a year. Conclusion about aggravation of microelement status in region citizens is made basing on increase of intensity of indicator wear with growth of their service term. n EFFECT: method allows to extend number of indicators for evaluation of microelement status of region citizens, scope and term of indication, increase impressiveness of evaluation of microelement status in region citizens, with simultaneous reduction of labour-consumption and cost of its carrying out, as well as with simplification of necessary organisational actions n 1 ex
