FIELD: nuclear physics. n SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of nuclear physics with regard to detection of uranium and its compounds. Method includes application of 10-20% aqueous solution of nitric acid on investigated surface of body, further application of 10-20% of aqueous solution of sodium acetate and saturated aqueous solution of sodium salicylate available in aqueous solution in ratio of 1:1, in 1-2 minutes, onto investigated surface of body treated with aqueous solution of nitric acid, and detection of at least one time-stable orange-red spot in 1-2 minutes after realisation of the last procedure on investigated surface of body exposed to effect of aqueous solutions of acids, and the spot indicates availability of uranium and its compounds onto investigated surface of body, besides aqueous solution of nitric acid and aqueous solution of sodium acetate and sodium salicylate is applied onto investigated body surface as 0.05-0.10 kg/m 2 . n EFFECT: faster, cheaper and more autonomous detection. n 4 cl, 1 ex, 2 tbl |
