abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and aims at development of scleroreconstructive therapy of myopia alta complicated by posterior staphyloma. Local scleral impression within posterior pole is performed with using polymer-coated polyester filling. Said coating deposit with panaxel. The filling height, and therefore impression are graded by a number of polyester layers 1 to 3, each 1 mm thick, considering the staphyloma depth. Herewith a graft is delivered downwards under inferior oblique muscle at first so that the filling edge set against inferior oblique muscle. Then lower end of the graft is delivered under inferior rectus muscle without fixing to sclera. The upper end thereof is delivered under external rectus muscle to place the filling under external rectus line and directly above inferior oblique muscle. With pincers, the graft and the filling are slightly pushed to posterior pole. Further, upper end of the graft is delivered under superior rectus muscle also without fixing to sclera. After that, with pincers, both ends of the graft are pulled up to nasal direction so that its middle with the filling is within posterior pole, and lower edge of the filling set against inferior oblique muscle without being delivered thereunder. At this time internal rectus muscle is ligatured ectad towards the graft advance. n EFFECT: method allows reducing intraoperative injuries, ensuring reliable flattening of staphyloma, restoring posterior pole eye shape, improving membrane trophism and providing prolonged stabilisation of myopia. n 1 ex, 4 dwg
