abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and aims at treatment of primary and secondary endothelial-epithelial corneal dystrophy. Endothelium and Descemet's membrane are removed from the recipient's eye through a tunnel corneal incision. A posterior corneal allograft is introduced into the recipient's anterior chamber through the tunnel incision. The allograft is stretched with a Sinsky's hook inserted through a paracentesis opposed to the tunnel incision. n EFFECT: method reduces corneal injuries and keeps its strength, accelerates corneal epithelisation and provides faster visual recovery and elimination of corneal syndrome. n 1 ex |
