abstract | FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of joining membrane roof coating, with a first surface, and an object, with a second surface, involving the following stages; (i) deposition of an effective amount of a hardening adhesive composition on the first surface of the membrane roof coating, second surface of the object or on both surfaces, where the adhesive contains (a) an effective amount of initiator based on a complex of organo borane and amine, with the structure (R2)3-BåÉNH2(CH2)b-(C(R12)2)a-Si-((R11)q(Q)P)- or , where B is boron; R2 in each separate case represents C1-10 alkyl, C3-10 cycloalkyl, or two or more R2 can be combined, forming a cycloaliphatic ring; Q is a hydrolised link; R11 in each case independently represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, alkylamino or has the formula ((CR14H)rO)n-(NR4)-(CH2)0-NH2 under the condition that, at least (R11) is a primary amine, representing the above mentioned; R12 in each case independently represents hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkoxy and can additionally contain one or several primary, secondary or tertiary amines; R in each separate case is hydrogen or alkyl; R4 is hydrogen, C1-10 alkyl, C6-10 aryl or C7-10 alkaryl; a assumes values from 1 to 10; b assumes values from 0 to 1; m in each separate case is an integer equal to or greater than 1; p in each separate case assumes values from 1 to 3; q in each separate case is an integer assuming values from 1 to 2, where the sum of p and q on each silicon atom equals 3; n in each separate case is an integer assuming values from approximately 4 to approximately 400; o in each separate case is an integer assuming values from approximately 1 to approximately 9; and r in each separate case is an integer equal to 2 or 4, and (b) one or several monomers, oligomers, polymers or their mixtures, with olefin-type unsaturation, which can take part in free-radical polymerisation and produced from acrylates and methacrylates, and (ii) bringing into contact the first surface of the membrane roof coating and the second surface of the object.
