titleOfInvention | Method of performing trabeculotomy with ab interno approach |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for performing trabeculotomy ab interno. Self-sealing paralimbal paracentesis is performed, through which anterior chamber is emptied. In 10-15 seconds through the same paracentesis anterior chamber volume is restored. After that trabeculotomy is performed under gonioscopic control. Trabeculotomy is performed taking into account topography of Shlemm's canal filled with blood in retrograde way. n EFFECT: ensuring possibility to reduce IOP due to improvement of moisture outflow from anterior chamber through natural ways of outflow by means of low-traumatic self-sealing paracentesis with reliable intra-operation possibility to diagnose state of intrascleral outflow ways. n 1 ex |
