titleOfInvention | Method of producing aromatic carbonate |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to improvement of the method of producing aromatic carbonate, which involves reaction of initial substance, chosen from a group consisting of dialkylcarbonate with formula (1), alkylarylcarbonate with formula (2), and their mixture, with a reagent, chosen from a group consisting of an aromatic monohydroxy compound, with formula (3), alkylarylcarbonate with formula (4), and their mixture, in the presence of metal-containing catalyst, with distillation of by-product of alcohols and/or by-product of dialkylcarbonates from the reaction system, thereby obtaining aromatic carbonate, with formula (5) and/or formula (6), corresponding to the initial substance and reagent. The obtained aromatic carbonate is subsequently purified using two distillation columns, where the distillate from the first distillation column is fed into the second distillation column, and aromatic carbonate is obtained in form of a bottom product. The metal-containing catalyst is an organic polytitanoxane composition with molecular weight of 480 or more, which contains at least, two titanium atoms and is dissolved in a liquid phase in the reaction system or is present in form of a liquid during the reaction, Ar 1 OH (3) where R 1 , R 2 , and R 3 in formulae (1)-(4) independently represent an alkyl group, with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, alicyclic group, with 3 to 10 carbon atoms, or aralkyl group, with 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and Ar 1 , Ar 2 and Ar 3 independently represent an aromatic group, with 5 to 30 carbon atoms and where each of R and Ar in formulae (5) and (6) are chosen from R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , Ar 1 , Ar 2 and Ar 3 of the corresponding initial substance and reagent. n EFFECT: method allows for obtaining highly pure aromatic carbonate in stable conditions for a long period of time. n 13 cl, 4 dwg, 18 ex |
