Method of cationite production |
abstract |
FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of cationite production which can be used in chemistry and metallurgy during the waste waters purification of the metal ions. The method is implemented by modification of the previously comminuted rubber produced from the auto-tyre casings using the ground tread rubber with particle size 0.125-1.0 mm as comminuted rubber. The modification is performed by processing of comminuted rubber with gaseous nitrogen oxides at temperature 25-50°C. Then obtained material is completely oxidised with aerial oxygen during at least 2 hours with continuous stirring. The acid number of the resulting product is in the range 5.41-10.87 mg KOH/g. n EFFECT: improvement of the process manufacturability and capability of heavy metal ions extraction; simplification of the cationite production method. n 4 ex, 1 tbl |
