abstract | FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: description is given of a herbicide composition, containing an active substance in form of a mixture of two sulphonyl urea herbicides - nicosulfuron (I) and thifensulfuron-methyl (II) with ratio I:II from 1:1 to 5:1. Description is also given of the method of fighting weed plants in maize crops. The composition can be used in different forms of preparations, such as solid and liquid, for example, in form of water dispersible granules, wetting powders, aqueous-glycolic solutions and others.
