abstract FIELD: physics, measurements. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates electrochemical measurements. The proposed device comprises an electrode system connected into measuring circuit. Note that the section of analysed specimen is used as the operating electrode incorporating a measuring cell accommodating the reference electrode and additional electrode. The said cell is filled with electrolyte and features an open bottom to ensure the contact between electrolyte and the selected section of the specimen. The proposed invention can be used in the development of the processes of electrochemical extraction of metal ions from strongly diluted solutions in purifying whatever waters, recovering noble and precious metals, electrochemical recovery of oxidation of organic substances, water decontamination and deactivation. The said cell features a cylindrical outer surface, the cell being fitted into cylindrical space of the base casing. Note that pressure unit represents a threaded joint between the cell outer surface and the casing cylindrical space.
