titleOfInvention | Elimination method of upper eyelid retraction in case of anophthalmus |
abstract | FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: in case of conjunctival cavity deformation and deficiency of orbit soft tissues, stabilised hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin is injected consistently by one injection in the external, medium and internal third of the upper orbit osteal edge. Thus a skin puncture is made at angle of 45 degrees, parallel to uper orbit osteal edge, up to periosteum and orbicularis muscle depth. In one injection 0.3-0.5 ml (6-10 mg) of the preparation is brought in. After preparation papule injection it is spread mechanically evenly along the upper orbit osteal edge. n EFFECT: simplification of operation technique and avoidance of implant excision which has been introduced before, possibility to avoid a casting-off, inflammatory reactions and expansion of an arsenal of means for anophthalmic syndrome correction. n 2 cl, 2 ex |
