titleOfInvention Method for sealing of sclera rupture and/or wound in tissue deficiency cases
abstract FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: "П"-shaped autosclera graft is cut out, with its base located on the wound or rupture lip. The graft base length makes up a half of wound/rupture length. At the wound/rupture opposite lip similar autosclera graft is formed. Grafts base sides are apart from each other along the wound/rupture by half of wound/rupture length. The wound/rupture is closed with the grafts formed; they are fixed to the opposite wound/rupture lip and to each other adjacent sides. Denudated sclera after the grafts cutting is covered with doxycycline impregnated ophthalmologic polyester sheet, which is fixed to episclera with edge stitches. n EFFECT: reliable sealing of sclera wound or rupture in tissue deficiency cases; prevention of eyeball deformation and infectious complication development. n 1 ex
