abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: for composing of ash-free additive to automobile gasoline with high anti-knock properties, as well as high performance and good environmental characteristics that fully conform Euro-3 and Euro-4 standards, the ash-free high-octane additive to automobile gasoline, containing N-methyl aniline, N,N-dimethyl aniline, oxygenate, including tert-butyl alcohol, and cleaning agent "Avtomag" or Keropur 3430N", is proposed; it also contains aliphatic alcohols or ether-aldehyde fraction as an extra stabiliser, and oxygenate contains ethanol and ethyl-tert-butyl ether; the ingredients being rated as follows, in wt %: N-methyl aniline - 70-10, N,N-dimethyl aniline - 0.5-4, tert-butyl alcohol - 15-0.5, ethanol - 0.5-30.0, cleaning agent 1.5-5.0, stabiliser - 2.5-0.5, ethyl-tert-butyl ether - 10.0-50.0. n EFFECT: increase in motor power characteristics and fuel consumption lowering. n 1 tbl
