titleOfInvention | Alumina supporter for palladium catalysts and method of its preparation |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: alumina supports are is proposed. They are prepared from alumina mass, of peptized nitric acid which as plasticizing additives contains an active alumina oxide and/or re-precipitated hydroxide aluminium and in addition includes trihydrate of aluminium with the following ratio of components, mass%: activated oxide of aluminium and/or re-precipitated hydroxide of aluminium (in-equivalent to Al 2 O 3 ) 25.0-65.0, aluminium trihydrate (in-equivalent to Al 2 O 3 ) the rest. Also variants of the supporters are proposed. They are additionally contain kaolin 0.5-6.0% mass and/or oxide of lanthanum (in-equivalent to La 2 O 3 ) 0.1-1.0% mass. Methods of preparation of the specified supporters include formation of granules in the form of extrudates from alumina masses, peptised nitric acid, the subsequent stage-by-stage heat treatment of granules and high-temperature tempering at the temperature of 700-900°C. The challenges of the group of inventions are the expansion of the assortment of the specified alumina supporters, and also expansion of assortment of methods of preparation of alumina supporters. n EFFECT: increase in plasticity and pliability of alumina mass; increase in water absorption of the carrier; guarantee of uniform application and guarantee of a finely dispersed state of the layer of palladium; guarantee of the required depth of penetration of palladium into the granule; conducting of heat treating the extrudates at lower temperatures and reduction of material and power expenses. n 8 cl, 12 ex |
