abstract FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: medicinal agent deliverer to posterior pole of eyeball contains straight elastic tube applied for introduce medicinal agents in posterior sub-Tenon's space, syringe and injection needle placed in tube with fritted tip. Needle body is radiussed according to radius of eyeball curvature. Needle hook is furnished with linear stepped bush with greater diameter to syringe and inner face congruous to needle hook outer face. Outer linear bush face of smaller diameter is threaded. Bush is furnished with internally threaded cap. Elastic tube is designed with cap and rotatable abound injection needle. Method of medicinal agent delivery to posterior pole of eyeball is performed as follows. Conjunctiva with sub-Tenon's space is fixed with surgical forceps making a distance 10 mm of limb within lower external eyeball segment. Conjunctiva and sub-Tenon's space is needled with curved needle body of deliverer. Initially 2% lydocaine solution is injected in dosage 0.3 ml. It is in the same syringe with medicinal agent. Needle hook is removed inwards to elastic tube, which is inserted to posterior sub-Tenon's space. After medicine agent is injected, tube with injection needle is removed. Invention enables to reduce trauma number within eyeball due to tube design providing rotation around injection needle with hook to be penetrated in tube before insertion to posterior sub-Tenon's space. Besides tube tip is fritted, and needle body is radiussed according to radius of eyeball curvature. n EFFECT: reduced trauma number and possibility of out-patient treatment implying single application. n 2 cl, 2 ex, 2 dwg
