titleOfInvention | Method for treating hypertension cases combined with osteoarthrosis in elderly age |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves applying balneotherapy combined with peloido- and physiotherapy. Hipbaths or four-chambered sodium chloride baths of 20 g/l concentration, temperature of 36-37°C, 8 min long, given every other day from 14 to 17 o'clock in a 8-9 procedures long course are administered as peloidotherapy. Bog mud applications to injured articulations at 34-36°C, treating not more than two large or four small articulations per one procedure are administered as balneotherapy. One procedure is 12-15 min long and given every other day at days free of baths from 14 to 17 o'clock in a 8-9 procedures long course. Magnetic laser therapy is administered as physiotherapy for treating injured articulations and segmental reflexogenic vertebral column zones. Upper extremities being injured, paravertebral zones are treated in C5-Th3 zone. Lower extremities being injured, L5-S1 segment is treated at 50 Hz frequency with total treatment course being 8-10 daily procedures long. Electrosonotherapy is applied according to fronto-occipital techniques with pulsating current frequency being equal to 5-10 Hz. Treatment time is 30-40 min given every other day in 8-10 procedures long course. n EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved vascular endothelium state and diastolic myocardium function; reduced risk of traumatic complications. n 4 tbl |
