titleOfInvention Method for detecting proximal border of esophageal tumor
abstract FIELD: medicine, functional diagnostics. n SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with pre-surgical diagnostics of tumor development along esophageal wall. It is necessary to scan the bundle of coherent optic radiation along esophageal surface followed by getting the images, and detecting tumor border according to the appearance of visible stratified structure of esophagus. Moreover, step-by-step scanning should be started from tumor's epicenter successively in four directions of hypothetical face till the onset of the first stratified image for each direction, and the most proximal tumor border that corresponds to it should be marked with methylene blue. The innovation enables to objectively and accurately detect proximal border of esophageal tumor that provides optimal choice of surgical access and interference volume and, also, decreased percentage of relapses. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection. n 2 cl, 10 dwg, 2 ex
