titleOfInvention Method for dosed intraocular blood pressure stabilization in performing microinvasive antiglaucomatous surgical intervention
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring intraocular blood pressure just before beginning operation. 1.2-2.0 mm long trabecule and descemet membrane part zone is exposed in carrying out microinvasive antiglaucomatous surgical intervention and deep sclera layers are excised next to it. The anterior chamber is transcorneally opened along limb at the point placed opposite to zone under surgical intervention. Irrigative cannula is introduced for stabilizing intraocular pressure. Superficial scleral flap is returned to its original place and the conjunctival incision is sutured. Fluid for stabilizing intraocular blood pressure is introduced into anterior chamber by means of irrigative cannula in the amount of calculated from empiric formula: ΔV =30P*d 4 /(η*L), where ΔV is the stabilizing fluid volume to be introduced (mm 3 ), P is the intraocular pressure measured just before beginning the operation (mm of mercury column); η' is the kinematical viscosity of the stabilizing fluid (g/cm 3 ), η= η'ρ is the dynamic viscosity of the stabilizing fluid (mPa*s); d is the irrigative cannula outlet opening diameter (mm), L is the trabecule and Descemet membrane part length (1.2-2.0 mm). Then, the irrigative cannula is removed. n EFFECT: smooth ophthalmic tone reduction without hypotonic shock taking place. n 3 dwg
