titleOfInvention | Method for carrying out xenon anesthesia |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology. n SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to anesthesiological aid while carrying out surgical interferences. For this purpose, a patient should be subjected to premedication followed by denitrogenization with pure oxygen along semienclosed contour. Then it is necessary to carry out introductory narcosis and repeated denitrogenization due to controlled ventilation along semienclosed contour with subsequent transfer to closed contour. After that one should temporarily stop the supply of oxygen, and respiratory sac should be completely emptied. Then one should quickly supply xenon into closed contour of narcosis apparatus for single filling in the respiratory sac to establish xenon concentration at the level desired. Xenon concentration should be maintained due to supplying pure oxygen into the apparatus' contour at quantities that compensate its usage by a patient. Then comes anesthesia on finishing which one should supply oxygen till complete xenon elimination out of a patient's body and respiratory contour of narcosis apparatus into a xenon absorber. The innovation enables to provide controlled deep anesthesia due to achieving stable xenon concentration in gas-narcotic mixture without constant xenon supply into the system of narcosis apparatus and gas flow regulation for maintaining its concentration. n EFFECT: higher efficiency. n 1 ex |
